FROM MINOR REPAIR TO COMPLETE BATHROOM RENOVATIONS

Tips:

*One of the most common issues with bathrooms is moisture. Especially here in the Vancouver area, we get lots of rain throughout the year, and it contributes to the already moisturized bathroom issue. You need to make sure that your bathroom ceiling fan is working well, cleaned, and connected to the proper venting outside of the house. To test your bathroom ceiling fan, you can take one sheet of toilet paper and place it against the cover of the ceiling fan, the toilet paper sheet should stay right up against the ceiling fan cover.

* The other most common issue with bathrooms is mold, which is the result of excessive moisture. It can build up on the grout of wall tiles inside the shower. You can use toothbrush and bleach to kill molds on the grout of the wall tiles.

***Important*** Make sure to use proper gloves and N95 or a respirator mask for safety and have the ceiling fan running during and a few hours after. Molds can also build up on corners of the bathtub/shower base and wall tiles. In this case, you need professional help to cut out the old silicon, clean that area with bleach and apply new silicon.
